Programs for the TI 83 and 84 series of graphing calculators will be posted here. These programs will work on the TI 83, TI 83 Plus, TI 83 Plus Silver Edition, TI 84 Plus, and TI 84 Plus Silver Edition.
A bunch of calculator programs
I decided to upload some of the TIBASIC graphing calculator programs I already made. Most of them are very simple.
Average – Finds the average of a list of numbers.
Distance – Finds the distance between two objects (2D or 3D).
Equation – Enter an equation and then type in values for X, and it will solve it for you.
Haha – A prank program. When the user types in a problem, it will add a random number between -5 and 5 to the answer.
Numguess – A simple number guessing game. My favorite TIBASIC program.
Ooooooo – A screensaver program.
Pythag – finds the hypotenuse of a triangle.
Quadrad – Solves quadratic equations using the quadratic formula.
Reaction – A two player reaction time game.
Resistance – Uses ohms law to find the correct resistor to use with an LED.
Syndiv – A synthetic division program.
Twister – Press enter and it will tell you where to put your hand or foot in a game of twister.
Vertex – Finds b and h (the vertex of a quadratic equation).
Zero – Finds zeros of an equation. It doesn’t always work and I am working on a better program to replace it.

It seems that people want to know how to install these programs. To do this, you will need to download and install TI Connect from TI’s website (Your calculator may have also included an installation cd for TI Connect.) Now, plug your calculator into your computer with a usb or serial cable. Right click on the zip file you want to install and select “Send to TI device” (or whatever it says). It should now send it to your calculator.
